AP Chemistry Interactive Practice
A teacher in Atlanta suggested this one. She said "I found an amazing website today that I thought was worth sharing. The site says that it was be used by other teachers. My favorite part of this site is his interactive review quizzes. The chapters correspond with Zumdahl- click on “Review Questions”. I am going to definitely suggest my students use this for extra preparation before quizzes and exams."

Our Environment and Oceans for Life
The National Geographic Society recognizes that a healthy environment is a global issue – one that sustains all life as we know it. It is important to work with educators to include this message in the classroom everywhere we can by providing facts, news, and classroom activities for all teachers and their students.
The purpose of this Web site is the following:
To link education and the environment for our classrooms and society.
To provide teachers with tools and resources to instruct students on the importance of a healthy environment.
To provide a multimedia "teacher’s tool kit" that can be tailored for use in the classroom.
To provide "green" actions for everyone so that we can all preserve our environment.
To demonstrate how geography is central to understanding about the world we live in.
To promote ocean literacy in our classrooms and society.

The Water Cycle
Earth's water is always in movement, and the water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle, describes the continuous movement of water on, above, and below the surface of the Earth. Since the water cycle is truly a "cycle," there is no beginning or end. Water can change states among liquid, vapor, and ice at various places in the water cycle, with these processes happening in the blink of an eye and over millions of years.
Although the balance of water on Earth remains fairly constant over time, individual water molecules can come and go in a hurry. The water in the apple you ate yesterday may have fallen as rain half-way around the world last year or could have been used 100 million years ago by Mama Dinosaur to give her baby a bath.
To explore the water cycle, choose a topic from the diagram or text links below.
